Who I am
I’m called the Ortolano, the greengrocer, because I do what a greengrocer does at the market: I pick by hand, one at a time, and put on the stall only what I’d take home myself. Except that instead of lettuce I grow clothes.
I sell real vintage from Pisa: eighties, nineties and noughties streetwear and sportswear, second-hand designer and tailored pieces, denim, sweatshirts, outerwear. Before a piece goes on the stall I read it: the label, the seams, the feel of the fabric. I write the flaws on the listing, before the price.
For every order I set aside one euro: when there’s enough for a tree, I plant it with Treedom. The first dates from 1 October 2026, the day I open.
What I sell, and how
I sell in three ways.
- In the harvest you pick single pieces: every item is unique, what you see is what you buy.
- You build the crate: tier, format, one category per item and your two sizes. Fixed price, shipping included; I pick the items.
- Your stall is half an hour on a video call with me: the pieces in your sizes, seen live, with a deposit that comes off the order.
And in Rummage you go through the harvest one item at a time and keep your favourites aside.

The request is filed with a reference that stays valid even if the confirmation email never arrives. Then I reply to you myself, at the address you give me. No automatic commercial mail: I answer your request, and that’s it.
